The library is thrilled to announce that Missio has recently joined the Digital Theological Library, which is “a co-owned, born-digital library of religious and theological studies. The mission of the DTL is to provide its co-owning institutions with the highest quality digital resources in religious and theological studies at the lowest possible costs.”

What does that mean for you? Well, if you’re an active student, staff, or faculty member of Missio, you now have access to 385,000+ eBooks, 27,000,000+ articles, 21,000+ journals, and 150+ databases–which blows our previous offerings well out of the water. (We still can’t give access to anyone not currently enrolled–sorry!) This does require a slightly different login than what you’d be familiar with from our EBSCO databases, so feel free to contact the library if you have any issues accessing DTL resources.

For more information about the DTL or to search its collection directly (or investigate the subject guides, which is something we couldn’t previously offer), please visit libguides.thedtl.org. Or just continue to use our catalog as you have been–all the eBooks and many of the other offerings are now available there, just as our EBSCO collections were previously.

We’re still in the process of updating our info on e-campus and the website to reflect this change–thank you for your patience as we try to get everything up and running properly.

Happy searching!
