Dr. Latinia Shell is from Lancaster, PA. Her counseling experiences include 15 years of both teaching and counseling in school, college, and community/mental health settings. She is the owner of Diversity Works Counseling, LLC. Counseling services rendered includes counseling for individuals, groups, couples, and families. Specialty areas include working with diverse clientele (i.e. African Americans, Latinos, and other ethnic minority populations), as well as working with women in transition with emotional, mental and behavioral issues. In addition, Dr. Shell provides supervision to counselors interested in seeking national certification and licensure; consultation for both mental health and diversity issues; and training pertaining to diversity/multiculturalism, as well as mental health and wellness. Recently, Dr. Shell was featured in two local newspaper articles pertaining to couples dealing with finances, as well as an article featuring the benefits of summer camp for children. Additionally, Dr. Shell was featured in an episode of Fatal Attraction as an expert on domestic violence, regarding a case in Lancaster PA, which aired May 18, 2015.
