Missio Seminary has an immediate opening for a part-time PULPIT Program Support person.

PULPIT Program Overview

PULPIT (Program for Urban Leaders and Pastors in Transition) will equip urban pastors in Philadelphia and beyond with effective strategies to thrive personally and professionally by addressing urban leadership issues strengthening their inner lives and facilitating the development of healthy support systems.

The program support position is a 10 hour per week position and will report to the Program Director to facilitate the ongoing success of PULPIT in the following ways:

Qualifications:

  • A maturing Christian committed and able to articulate the missional vision of Missio Seminary to the seminary’s varied constituents
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
  • 1+ years of experience in a technical support role
  • General knowledge of Zoom
  • Working knowledge and expertise with a variety of software, hardware, and applications.
  • Self-motivated team player and problem solver, ability to help others with technical problems
  • Handles all work with professionalism and confidentiality
  • Able to complete several projects simultaneously to meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage time and effectively prioritize numerous projects at one time
  • Able to communicate well orally and in written form
  • Committed to high standards of discretion and handling personal information confidentially
