Missio Seminary is seeking a Director of Strategic Relations for our Institutional Advancement office.
The Director of Strategic Relations will direct the day-to-day activity of the development department (including alumni and church relations. Supervising the campaign director; development officer; database manager; alumni and church relations staff; webmaster/communications coordinator; Missio ambassadors; and student worker. The primary focus will be on leading Missio’s efforts to reach our fundraising goals and to establish and strengthen relationships that increase donations and enrollment. The director of strategic relations will also provide leadership for the seminary’s broad-based solicitation strategies in order to strengthen our relationship with donors and expand our base of support of financial support.
Qualifications:
- A maturing Christian committed to helping Missio Seminary achieve its mission
- Experience in fundraising, strategic relations, or related fields
- Experience and excellence in management
- Self-motivated and able to solve problems while also a team player who values constructive direction.
- Handles all work with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Able to complete several projects simultaneously to meet required deadlines.
- Good interpersonal skills, including the flexibility to provide support where needed.
- Extensive computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office products, Campus Cafe (the seminary donor management software) and standard office equipment. Willing and able to learn new software as needed.
- Able to communicate well orally and in written forms.
