Missio Seminary is in search of a highly organized, self-directed and experienced Business Manager to oversee financial and accounting activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for budget management, financial analysis, payroll, forecasting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and financial reporting. We’re looking for a pro-active individual who feels comfortable delegating tasks and who can make changes to improve our office’s efficiency and productivity metrics.

Qualifications include:

  • A committed Christian who desires to help Missio Seminary achieve its mission of preparing leaders for the church
  • (Preferred) Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline
  • Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
  • Possess administrative and supervisory skills, including the ability to organize and prioritize projects, manage projects, and oversee staff
  • Impeccable analytical and organizational skills
  • Committed to high standards of discretion and confidentiality
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, team-oriented
  • Good computer skills, preferably with Microsoft Office products, Excel and Xero
