The Administrative Assistant for Academic Services will report to the Director of Academic Services/Registrar and provide support for the academic office. The administrative assistant will contribute to the overall atmosphere of effective, efficient student service in the academic office and maintain a positive working relationship with other departments.
Required Qualifications
- A committed Christian who desires to help Missio Seminary achieve its mission of preparing leaders for the church
- A vital, growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a servant spirit
- Self-motivation and initiative
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written, verbal, and computer skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Experience providing administrative support in a professional setting
- Ability to handle sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality
- High school diploma.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a higher education setting
- Experience with a student information system (SIS), preferably Campus Café
- Ability to analyze and revise operating practices to improve efficiency
