Biography

Rev. Williams has served as senior pastor of New Life in Christ Fellowship Church in Coatesville, PA since 1990. Before coming onto the faculty in July 2013, Dr. Williams was the first African-American to serve on the Board of Trustees at Biblical Theological Seminary. He also currently serves on the Board of the National Men’s Ministry’s Mighty Men of Valor in Harrisburg, PA. As both a teacher and a pastor, Dr. Williams embraces comprehensive word and deed ministry that is Christo-centric and culturally sensitive.

Dr. Williams is also an accomplished bassist and has performed with a variety of sacred and secular artists, including Clark Terry, Charles Walker, Sister Sledge, Ronnie Dyson, Natalie Cole, Marion Williams, Broderick Rice, and a host of others. He has also performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City, Philadelphia Academy of Music, and the Grand Ole Opery House.

Dr. Williams was born and raised in West Philadelphia, and resides today in Parkesburg, PA with his wife, Baleria; they have three adult children.
