Dear Missio Students,

Thanks for your patience and your flexibility as we’ve all been navigating this season, particularly by switching to an online learning environment so quickly and unexpectedly. As the President and the President’s Cabinet have continued to monitor the situation with COVID-19 and its progression in our area, Missio has decided to continue holding classes in an online format through April 27th. As before, we will reevaluate the situation and update you on classes beyond April 27th approximately two weeks prior to that date.

For those of you who are currently in classes, you can continue to use the Zoom link that you have been using. For those of you staring a new class on April 6th (MAC students), you will find the link to the zoom session at the top of your e-campus course page. You should plan on connecting to your class at your normally scheduled class time unless you hear otherwise from your professor.

If you have not already done so, please take time prior to the start of your class to make sure you have your computer set up for Zoom and that you feel comfortable with the platform. You can use the attached guide to start (sent to you previously as well) and can also view instructional videos on the Zoom website here.

Due to the city and state “stay at home” orders the Missio campus remains closed until further notice. During this time the best way to contact faculty and staff is via email. We will do our best to respond in a timely manner and we greatly apologize for any inconvenience. Below is a list of important email addresses.

We’ll continue to update you via e-campus as the situation develops. Make sure that you check there regularly for updates. In the meantime, we continue to pray for health, protection, and provision for each of you in our community and for the world around us.
